I am fully certified in manufacturing electrical cables to L3 Comm standards to include; Fiber Optic, JIT, IPC-620, IPC-610 certifications.  I worked on programs such as Rover 6, Predator, Helmet Sight, Twister, Vortex, Desert Owl, Hummingbird. I was matrixed into the label shop where I created labels for each cable leg by reading blueprints and manufacturing drawings.  My position was a part of the massive Northern Utah - L3 Comm layoff in April 2013.
 

09/2006 - 09/2007 Clerk, Dellew Corporation, Kunsan Air Base ROK
I worked as a clerk for the Dellew Corporation in the Military Personnel Flight. I was responsible for providing personnel records to authorized individuals. I maintained personal security for each individual by ensuring proper identification was rendered prior to handing over documents. I filed both electronic as well as paper versions of personnel records. I placed new records/awards in the personnel folders for all military personnel on base, as well as purging old irrelevant records from their files.

I performed the duties of a hotel receptionist in the Kunsan Air Base Lodging office. I checked people into and out of the facility as required. I accepted cash and credit card payments, rendering change as required. I monitored vacancies, ensured proper protocol was provided to dignitaries visiting the base when assigning rooms to temporary duty personnel.

10/2004 - 03/2005 Joint Portal Shield (JPS) Sensor Operator, AAI, Kunsan Air Base, Korea
AAI rehired me in the same position I held with the Camber Corp. when they took over the FY05 contract maintain the Joint Portal Shield (JPS) detection system. AAI enforced a stipulation that I obtain a security clearance at the SECRET level. The process for Defense Contractors to obtain a clearance has been lengthened considerably in recent years, and a clearance could not be obtained by the company set deadline. I was terminated from this company for that reason.

03/2004 - 09/2004 JPS Operator, Camber Corporation, Kunsan Air Base, Korea
My position entailed assisting the senior technician with daily operations of the JPS. I was the sole individual on a 12 hour, seven day on / seven day off shift (17:00 05:00). Duties typically involved performing surveillance of the Central Post Command (CPC) base wide warning system. I was required to perform sensor startup procedures in each of approximately 15 sensors located throughout Kunsan Air Base, as well as performing other tasks associated with NBC surveillance, sensor testing, assessment, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures. When hardware upgrades to equipement took place I was required to maintain configuration control of the JPS booths by properly routing cables within each facility.  Drills, rivet guns, crimpers, swage installation tools were used as needed.  Proper selection of common hardware e.g. torx, Phillips, common head screws, grip- lengths were determined.   Daily shift operations was entered into several Microsoft excel spreadsheets and word documents. I coordinated with the base Security Police, Fire Department, and Aircraft Control Tower during each shift for access to controlled areas. I was the individual responsible for initial situation assessment/reporting, required to make a split second determination if an NBC attack had been launched in the Kunsan City region of the peninsula, or if a the JPS had malfunctioned or made a miscalculation and the CPC was receiving a false positive indication of NBC contamination.

Fabricated electrical harnesses, diagnosed problems with pre-built harnesses used on a multitude of USAF rotary and fixed wing aircraft Armament, Flight Control, Avionics, Communications, and Navigational systems. Applied corrective measures to return unserviceable assets to an operational condition. Experienced using single conductor, shielded, coax, twinax, and triax wiring. Trained on the use of the wire braiding machine for the F-16 aircraft MUX and flight control applications. Fitted for respirator to work in the printed circuit board etching facility.
